Ingredients
For the meatballs:
- Cooking spray we recommend duck fat spray
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 large egg beaten
- ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2-3 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger finely chopped
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sriracha
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
For the sauce:
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- ¼ cups chicken stock
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sriracha
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- ¼ cup pure honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp ginger finely chopped
- 2 tsp garlic finely chopped
For serving:
- Cooked white rice
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
Cook the Meatballs:
- Preheat your pit to 400 °F. Combine the ground pork, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, Sriracha, chili powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.

- Place the saucepan on the stove and cook over medium heat while whisking frequently.
- Once the mixture begins to simmer, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until the sauce thickens, then remove it from the heat.
Coat the Meatballs in Sauce:
- Place the meatballs in a large bowl, pour the sauce over them, and toss until all of the meatballs are coated.
Serve the Meatballs:
- Serve the meatballs over cooked white rice and garnish them with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
