Red White And Blue Jello Shots

Tipsy Brisket's Signature Jello Shot! These taste like FREEDOM and Freedom tastes amazing! If you've ever seen us at a party or cookoff them I am sure you've tried these incredible jell-o shots, we bring them everywhere and people can't resist the taste of freedom. You can make these with a spoon to slowly pour the layers in but we highly recommend the fat separator linked in the equipment section if you are doing any jello shots with 3 or more layers. Optional is the Sugar and the Whipped Cream Flavoring but it gives a nice elevated flavor which will really up your jello shot game!

Instructions

Blue layer First

  • Heat 1 cup water to a boil, add blue Jello mix, stir until dissolved.
  • Optional: Add ¼ Cup of Sugar and 12 drops of Capella Whipped Cream Flavoring to boiling water and Jello mixture, stir until dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup Dripping Springs Vodka, stir.
  • Distribute evenly into 30 2oz Jell-O shot cups, filling a little over 1/3 full.
  • Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.

White layer in the center

  • Place powdered gelatin and 2 tablespoons of warm water in small bowl, let soak for 5 minutes to allow the gelatin to “bloom”.
  • In a medium saucepan, heat ⅔ cup heavy cream, ⅔ cup milk, ⅓ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat, add gelatin and stir until dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup Dripping Springs Vodka, stir.
  • Let cool 10-15 minutes. Make sure white layer is completely cool to room temperature.
  • Once blue layer is set and the white mixture has cooled, pour a thin layer of the white mixture on top of the blue layer.
  • Place back in the refrigerator for about 3 hours. You’re almost there!

Red layer on top

  • Heat 1 cup water to a boil, add Red Jello mix, stir until dissolved.
  • Optional: Add ¼ Cup of Sugar and 12 drops of Capella Whipped Cream Flavoring to boiling water and Jello mixture, stir until dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup Dripping Springs Vodka, stir.
  • Let red layer cool to room temperature.
  • Once the white layer has set, and red Jell-O mixture is at room temperature, fill the Jell-O shot cups the rest of the way until almost full.
  • Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours. Enjoy!
